PAST Autonomous Vehicle Displays & Dashboards
In this workshop, we'll focus on the digital dashboard in autonomous consumer vehicles for a 5 and 10 year timeframe. We'll research existing and planned dashboards; prototype and "test" dashboards using paper and cardboard; and create final mockups of a dashboard of the future, articulating our reasoning and decisions. Augmented Reality: Reimagining City Infrastructure
In this workshop, we'll consider how VR and AR can be used to imagine the future of the urban environment by combining planned buildings and filings, new modes of transit and other data inputs into a hybrid view of our lived space. We'll conceptualize what an effective A/R application for civic and real estate use might look or feel like and how it might be created. Weekend Workshop, Dates TBD
Bots, SMS & Blockchain for Civic Tech
In this workshop, we'll consider how civic services can be overhauled through SMS and bots to deliver better services, solicit more input and engagement, and improve democratic participation. When combined with Blockchain infrastructure, Bots and Blockchain have the potential to overhaul democracy. Weekend Workshop, Dates TBD
IoT for Hospital Healthcare Services Delivery
In this workshop, we'll focus on overhauling the hospital experience for patients using IoT, wearables and even chatbots to monitor, communicate and maintain patient healthcare services. We'll imagine a future in which patients can sleep restfully; be monitored with ambient devices; and be given the care needed without the types of regular intrusions and mishaps that form the core of today's hospital experience.
